Travel Insurance

Travelers are able to elect the additional travel insurance options online without having to call in. This is particularly helpful if you have forgotten to purchase additional top-up cover and remember at 23h00 the night before your flight. All necessary documentation and policy reference numbers are automatically available for download once the process of purchasing your travel insurance is complete. The site is managed by Chartis SA.

Please be reminded that you are able to lodge both a Phase I and a Phase II card at your Travel Management Company for local and international travel respectively. This way, you no longer need to remember to activate the top up cover required when travelling internationally as the top-up insurance will automatically charge when an airline ticket is bought using the Phase II card. Furthermore, you will save on the top up insurance premium as a reduced Mandate Option fee applies when utilising the Phase II card.
