Diners Club has made merchant acceptance one of our top priorities.
Your assistance in helping us to extend the Diners Club community
of merchants is greatly appreciated.
In South Africa, our merchant acceptance rate is currently over
90%. However, it is our aim to ensure that no Diners Club member
ever has a bad experience by encountering an establishment that
does not accept the Diners Club Card.
To this end, we have created a platform on our website where
our members can inform us of any establishments that do not
accept the Diners Club Card.
If this establishment is a local merchant, the Diners Club South
African merchant team will follow up and endeavour to get the
establishment signed up as a Diners Club merchant.
If the establishment is an international merchant - we will
pass these leads onto our international franchise counterparts
for them to follow-up on.
To show our appreciation in this regard - we will be conducting
a quarterly lucky draw: once you have submitted information
to us, you will stand in line to win your choice of a Mont Blanc
pen or Woolworths shopping vouchers.
PLEASE NOTE:
Non-acceptance is when a merchant refuses to accept your Diners
Club Card as payment, and should not be confused with non-authorisation
- which means the merchant accepted your card, but an authorisation
problem was encountered when your card was presented as payment.
For authorisation problems, please contact our Member Service
Centre on 0860-DINERS (346377) or
via our helpline
