including small, medium and commercial businesses and corporates.
It is a prerequisite that the following be in place for each
merchant category:
• General Merchants
An existing merchant facility with one of the following Acquiring
banks:
Standard Bank, Nedbank, ABSA, Capitec or FNB

Airlines
Should be registered with IATA (International Air Transportation
Association)
• Travel Agencies/Tour Operators
Should be registered with ASATA (Association of South African
Travel Agencies) and,
Should be registered with SATOUR
• Guest Houses
Should be registered with BABASA (Bed and Breakfast Association
of South Africa or GASA (Guest House Association of South
Africa)
• Health Care / Medical Practitioners
Should have a RAMS or practice number

Internet / Mail order / Telephone order merchants
For Internet merchants, it is a prerequisite that your website
complies with the Electronic Commerce and Telecommunications
Act, and
For Mail Order/ TelephoneOrder merchants, it is a prerequisite
that you are a member of the DMASA (Direct Marketing Association
of SA)
Costs
Our approach is to negotiate a rate that is appropriate
for your type of business and is market related. Our pricing
principles take into account your type of business, predicted
sales volume and average ticket value.
