The Diners Club Wine Society |
Under the directorship of Wade Bales, the Diners Club Wine
Society offers a specialist wine service to Diners Club Cardholders
who can choose to participate. Diners Club members have the
choice of joining the Diners Club Wine Society and receiving
a bi-monthly case of hand-selected South Africa wines or they
can order wine on a more ad hoc basis through our wine consultants.
Since its establishment in 1992, The Diners Club Wine Society
has built close relationships with leading estates and wineries
across the Cape Winelands. This enables the Wine Society to
offer Cardholders an exciting variety of top quality wines,
which in many instances are not available to the general public.
These include classic award-winners from the Cape’s most
famous cellars as well as interesting new labels from up and
coming wineries.
For example, the Wine Society can claim to have been the first
to offer its Members what have since become the internationally
acclaimed wines of Thelema. Due to this long-standing association
with the wine industry, the Diners Club Wine Society is able
to negotiate the best prices, cut out the middleman, and pass
the savings directly onto the Diners Club member. |
