Diners Club Travel Insurance
By purchasing your return public conveyance ticket on your Diners Club card, you receive basic automatic (Phase 1) travel insurance.
Phase I travel insurance (age 3 months up to an including 75 years) covers:
- Emergency Medical & Related expenses and Assistance.
- Personal Accident.
- Cancellation & Curtailment (Prive card holders only).
- Baggage Loss (Prive card holders only).

Our customer services call centre is open Monday to Thursday between 08:00 and 18:00,Fridays between 08:00 and 17:00 and Saturdays between 08:00 and 13:00 (South Africantime). We are closed on public holidays.

Non-medical claims and medical claims for out of hospital treatment. For all non-medical claims (for example, claims for baggage or cutting the insured journey short) and for medical claims for out of hospital treatment, you can contact us up to 30 days after you have returned to South Africa at:
